Appeal for candidates for the position of IJOC Board members, term 2023 – 2025
Dear Members,
We would like to inform you about the upcoming IJOC Board elections.
As per our statutes, an annual rotation for board members is defined by Art. 9.6.
Accordingly, for 2023, we will have three board members whose terms are expiring.
These are in alphabetical order: Sharon Al Qaoud (KUW), Ali Küçük (TUR) and Laura van de Graaf (NED).
All three candidates are re-eligible as per the IJOC Statutes 9.5 and today we are launching an appeal for the full term of 2023-2025.
Should you wish to apply as a candidate, please complete the application form attached.
Additionally, your application must be accompanied by a motivation letter, your CV, and a recent photo.
All documents must be submitted to sg@ijoclub.com latest by 23.59 CET on 12 November 2022
After the deadline, candidates’ names, their motivation letters, and CVs will be published on the Club’s website.
As usual practice, the election process will be conducted online.
The online voting system will be activated approximately mid- December, and the exact day will be confirmed in due course.
The voting system will remain open until 23.45 CET 12 January 2022.
Please be advised that the maximum number of Board Members including the President, representing the same nationality shall be two. If more than two people of the same nationality, including the President, are elected as Board Members, those with the most votes shall be selected, and those following shall be replaced by the person(s) immediately below them in the results of the voting.
