Dear friends and member colleagues,

We had earlier informed you that the upcoming IJOC General Assembly 2026 would run online on the 26th of January 2026 at 18:30 hours CET.

Going forward, it is now time to provide more information.

Upcoming Board Elections:
As per our statutes, an annual rotation for board members is defined by Art. 9.6. Accordingly, for 2026, we have two board member seats for election. The current members for these seats are Laura van de Graaf (NED) and Ali Kücük (TUR) who are both re-eligible.

Today we are launching the appeal process for the full term of 2026-2028. If you wish to apply as a candidate, please complete the application form attached. Additionally, your application must be accompanied by a motivation letter, your CV, and a recent photo. All documents/files must be submitted to ijoc@ijoclub.com latest by 23.59 CET on 19 November 2025

After the deadline, candidates’ names, their motivation letters, and CVs will be published on the Club’s website and/or sent by email to members. As usual practice, the election process will be conducted online. The online voting system will be activated on 25 December 22:45 hours CET, and the voting system will remain open until 25 January 22:45 hours CET.

Please be advised that the maximum number of Board Members including the President, representing the same nationality shall be two. If more than two persons of the same nationality, including the President, are elected as Board Members, those with the most votes shall be selected, and those following shall be replaced by the person(s) immediately below them in the results of the voting.

We look forward to receiving your applications.
Kind regards.

Glenn Maes
President IJOC
