Dear Members,

I hope this finds you well. As we slowly approach our Istanbul events, we would like to inform you with this second set
of information. Please find attached the application form with full events included to this blog. We would appreciate if
you kindly fill the form and return to sg@ijoclub.com until latest 1 December 2026. Earlier the better. This year, we
are pleased to introduce credit card payments as well as QR Code scan option for your payments

IJOC General Assembly, Istanbul 2027: In my previous message, I had already stated that we are very pleased to reach out
of Europe for our new destination. We are currently working on the daily timetable and Friday (Officials Forum) program
for a very interesting set of speakers. We should highlight that the new FEI President will also be invited to our
event. As conveyed earlier, our meetings will be at Mövenpick Istanbul Marmara Sea Hotel and the Friday dinner will be
in the roof- top of the hotel in KUN Restaurant. (www.kunrestoran.com ) . Please note that our registered participants
arriving on Friday can enjoy open buffet lunch between 12:00-13:00 . We plan to start our Forum at 13:00 hours

Upcoming Board Elections: As stipulated in our statutes, there must be a rotation of board members each year.
Accordingly, there are four board member seats up for election this year.
Current Board members who are eligible for re-election are as follows: (in alphabetical order by last name)

– Monica Gomez Su (MEX)

– Stephan Hellwig (GER)

– Annika Pihl (SWE)

– Angele Svoronou (GRE)

Of these members, Monica Gomez Su and Stephan Hellwig have unfortunately decided not to seek re-election. We would like
to thank our colleagues for their time in the IJOC as board members. However, Angele Svoronou and Annika Pihl have both
declared their intention for re-election.
To this end, we will soon share the IJOC Board member election application form for candidates to apply. If you are
interested, we welcome your application.

To this end, you can also reach out to our current Board members to learn the scope, responsibility and the commitment
details of an IJOC Board member. Simultaneously, some specific board member definitions are also detailed in our
internal regulations, available on our website. Kindly note that the launch of appeal process will be on 20 October.

IJOC Online Archive: We would appreciate if you can kindly go through our library. Should you have any supporting
documents for the missing years, please do not hesitate to share them with us. Following the check of our colleagues,
they will be included in our library.

That is all so far.
We will soon be sharing further details along the way. On behalf of our Board,
I welcome you all to Istanbul. Hosgeldiniz !
Kind regards
Glenn Maes, IJOC President
