Broken Pole:

 Amsterdam 2019

You are judging a Table A Art 238.2.2 1.45 m competition.

There are 30 starters and the seventh rider is on track. The horse jumps fence 5, an oxer, apparently clear and continues on the course. Just after he jumps fence 10, the back pole of fence 5 falls to the ground. This is his only fault during the round so 4 faults is announced. Shortly after this the course designer comes to you with a short piece of pole and tells you that this is part of the pole from the back of fence 5. It appears that there is some sort of fault in the wood and the pole has broken along this fault. There is official video at the event.
