Dear Member Colleagues,

We are in the middle of the year and as we are planning some activities for the second half of the year we also have
already some focus on 2027.

We are pleased to inform you that our IJOC Officials Forum, including the FEI CES Maintenance Courses will be held in
Istanbul (Türkiye) in 2027. This means that for the first time in history we will have our forum outside of Western
Europe, demonstrating our global vision. We will be gathering in Istanbul from January 22nd-24th. More practical
details will follow soon, but we invite you to block your agenda already !

In the second half of this year we will again organise our “case studies” webinar. Just like in previous years we will
be discussing upfront cases in separate groups and have a report-out later on. We invite you already to provide us with
cases you would like to see discussed.
We are open for all kind of cases, including stewarding, judging, course
designing and/or veterinarian discussions as we can all learn from each other. Please send your cases to sg@ijoclub.com

While we are focussing on these activities and are planning some other webinars, I would like to emphasize that the IJOC
is also actively involved in the FEI Horse Condition Protocol Task Force that is reviewing the protocols across all
disciplines with the aim to find consensus on harmonisation of the horse condition rules across disciplines.

The IJOC has also been involved in the process to develop the FEI Jumping Tack and Equipment Requirements which have
been recently approved by the FEI Board and soon to be communicated.

As you can see above, we are actively involved in different matters and always looking for your input and feedback on
all these aspects.

Kind Regards,
Glenn Maes
President IJOC
